Habsburgs Suffers

The TV documentary „Habsburgs Suffers“ deals with the ailing side of the powerful dynasty. The focus of the documentation is the house-, court- and state archive. There we rummage through the imperial court pharmacy and we follow the footsteps of some curious recipe – hemp cigarettes for asthma, cocaine pills for insomnia. Apart from that, the film takes a look at the medical standard at the beginning of the 19th century.
